Purpose Of the Role

Our existing Regional HRBP in WCA is moving internally for another great opportunity, and we are looking to hire an amazing successor. The location for the role is flexible across the WCA region, and ability to travel is preferred as the role supports across all of WCA. As a Regional HRBP, you are an integral part of the WCA People Leadership Team (PLT). 

This exciting opportunity is for a passionate HR professional, who is keen to ontribute to and support our strategic transformation and related change initiatives across WCA.

As a Regional HR Business Partner, you will be reporting into the Regional HR Head for WCA and partner closely with leaders in selected functions. The role has the unique opportunity to work as a sparring partner with all area HRBP’s across WCA to implement people strategy in various ways. You will also be the anchor between HRBP’s and the People Partner Organisation to drive the conversations to improve people processes and collaboration.

You will provide business centric solutions, including capability building, change management, workforce planning and many other people related initiatives that enhance business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

Regional Business Partnering

•        Co-own the business agenda and impact business outcomes through strategic and targeted people initiatives

•        Be the anchor point for impactful pan-regional initiatives in order to accelerate key strategic focus areas i.e., capability building, DEI ambitions or cultural change programs – these defined in close partnership with the Regional Leadership Team and the Regional People Leadership Team

•        Acts as sparring partner and courageous coach to executive and senior leaders inspiring them to develop and lead with impact

•        Collaborate with leaders to design simple and efficient organizational structures in line with the organizational blueprint and operating model

•        Drive cultural change in partnership with leaders to achieve organizational effectiveness fostering a culture of high performance and high engagement

•        Support senior leaders through strategic parts of annual HR cycle and partner with People Partners and deployment teams on support needed for annual HR cycle implementation across the function

•        Identify and close capability and competency gaps within the People Function in close collaboration with the People Partnering organization and the COEs – leveraging Strategic Workforce Planning methodologies and people data

Projects Scope

•        Execute Region/Area wide strategic projects in partnership with WCA region HRBP’s. This includes People workstream projects linked to the people strategy like onboarding, workforce planning, capability building, cultural transformation, DEI etc.

•        Act as a bridge between the People Partnering Organization and the HR Business Partners to drive conversations and action plans on how we can continuously strengthen and evolve the partnership to the benefit of our colleagues in the people function and our colleagues in the wider organization

•        Drive capability building for the People Function itself

•        Demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in a strategic, senior HR Business partnering position within a global organization

•        Passionate about the business and naturally takes co-ownership of the business strategy

•        Excellence in influencing senior stakeholders, conceptualizing and shaping strategies, challenging perceptions and expanding points of view while acting as the trusted advisor and courageous advocate

•        Experience from large international organizations and strong ability to build relationships and navigate a complex stakeholder matrix

•        Resilience and maturity in dealing with change/uncertainty and delivering results in challenging environments

•        Proactiveness - having the ability and confidence to work on own initiative

•        Cross-cultural awareness, general knowledge of international business and a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity

•        Have a well-structured and logical approach to the job and an outgoing and enthusiastic personality

•        Are well organized with high attention to detail

•        Collaborative, agile partner to multiple stakeholders and works to align the team on key outcomes
