Purpose
 

Responsible for managing complex/long-term projects, focused on driving our NAM strategy and delivering tangible results across various departments in Customer Experience.  Results that help drive efficiencies, scalability, reduce cost and/or an improve customer experience.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on managing larger, long-term projects – often with a matrix of internal and external stakeholders, including customers.
  • Manage budget and resource allocation; ensure proper lead-time for resource availability and utilization.
  • Maintain project documentation: Risk registers, action logs, schedules/timelines, etc.
  • Ability to meet stakeholders’ needs, including use of graphical aids (Gantt charts, stakeholder/process maps).
  • Create exposure and learning opportunities for Project Coordinators
  • Track Project Performance and Return on Investment; Specifically analyse the successful completion of both short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and assess risks and provide options for mitigation.
  • Provide regular updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate/escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule or costs w/ transparency.
  • Assist in creation and evaluation of future project pipeline.

Required experience & skills

  • At least 5 years relevant work-experience leading projects.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong M.S. Office skills, including XLS and MS Project.
  • Customer-facing professionalism.
  • Proven record in building solid relationships and stakeholder networks.
  • A team player who is also able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational & follow-up skills including attention to detail & ability to multi-task.
  • Results/deadline-oriented, analytical and innovative.
  • Leadership skills with the desire to continually develop self and others.
  • Ability to travel, as required by the project.
