Key responsibilities
1) Reports to Chief Officer on all matters
• Assist Chief Cook as and when required
• Ensure all areas of responsibilities are kept clean, tidy, hygienic and well maintained
1.1 Galley duties
Assist the Chief Cook:
• With the cleaning and hygiene of the galley.
• In the cleaning of all galley equipment.
• With the preparation of breakfast and dinner and catering of all meals - buffet style.
1.2 Mess duties
• Set tables and attend to all meals service in the dining saloon
• Washing up of meal crockery and utensils in the dining saloon and duty mess
• Attend to port officials and receptions as required

We are looking for
Minimum 12 months experience as Second cook/Messman on foreign going ships of relevant size/type and trade with various nationalities and holding
