Currently, we are looking for a driven and conscientious individual, to join our team as a Customer Implementation Manager. This role is responsible for project managing/assisting new Maersk LnS customer implementations at a high complexity level, with extensive geographical scope and large business scale and impact. Bridging the sales and operational activities, to ensure smooth transition of new or additional business into the Maersk organization.

Key responsibilities

Project Management

• Prepare and drive the overall implementation project plan across all geographies and functions
• Provide clear visibility of project status to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage risks rigorously from sales opportunity to stable operation
• Remove road blocks and impediments to meet timelines and customer requirements.
• Proactively manage delivery of other involved parties (IT, operational suppliers, etc).
• Establish and evaluate the success criteria for the project
• Successfully “close” implementations based on mutually defined criteria

Customer Relationship Management

• Establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with global key customers at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
• Lead the customer through the on-boarding process
• Strictly manage scope with customers

Stakeholders Engagement

• Ensure that key process flows, SOPs and IOPs are understood
Become a centre point of all communication on the project
Manage, delegate, review and consolidate inputs from all parties
• Manage IT functionality & EDI integration.
• Manage the hypercare period after go-live to ensure KPI/SLA is being met

Commercial Engagement

• Work with the commercial organization on pipeline visibility
• Review operational viability of complex opportunities
• Actively engage in the sales process, demonstrating our competency of smooth on-boarding

We are looking for

Good experience in logistics including international supply chain management.
A strong leader that can manage, delegate and deliver project among different stakeholder groups

• Proven experience in customer or project implementation would be an asset
• Willingness to travel and work on-site on a project basis, as and when required.
• Understanding of Supply Chain and Maersk L&S concepts and products
• Good knowledge of project management tools including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong IT and EDI understanding, comfortable with engaging with IT developers.
• Superb communication and negotiation skills
• Consistent ability to meet and adhere to deadlines.
• Solid operational background, preferably in SCM
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ambitious and result oriented self-starter with initiative and strong drive.
