The work location is in KLIA office.

Key responsibilities

1.Leadership
•Drive operational excellence: understand operations dynamics and organize the team accord-ingly
•Support internal stakeholders with product expertise and solutions design
•Drive KPI’s: manage internal (part of the MWB’s) and/or external KPI’s on a daily basis
•Manage the OPS team:
- Plans, directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in providing durable services
- Assign tasks and interpret company policies and procedures
- Ensure optimal cross functional working conditions
- Responsible for the team performance
- Deliver a team working approach within the departments by leading, coaching, directing and motivating the team incorporate to Maersk Group Core Values
•Achieving company and department KPI’s
•Be the owner of all OPS processes, captured in IOP’s/manuals
•Holding petty cash for office usage and ensure balance sheet updated correctly for weekly closing and submission to Finance team

2.Operations Service delivery, Data Quality & Process improvement
•Manage daily operational activities, ensure timely cargo submission/retrieval and accuracy of AWB, DO and other shipping documents issuance
•Responsible for the end-to-end operation execution on time and on plan to support our cus-tomers success in a lean and cost-efficient manner
•Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues/escalations and ensure timely response towards internal/external stakeholders
•Ensure correct handling of shipments and avoid any irregularities at all cost
•Response to daily operations emails or queries / calls / with zero or minimal escalations
•Manage daily urgent payment request related to operational cost and close follow up with Fi-nance team to ensure timely payment to vendors
•Engage and maintain good rapport with Airlines, Terminal Handling Authorities and Other Airfreight Related Vendors Like GHA, Transporters, DG specialist, Manpower agency etc.
•Adhere to and maintain customer specific IOP’s in close cooperation with CX team to contrib-ute to high customer satisfaction
•Manage warehouse and office supplies and ensure sufficient stocks for smooth operation works
•Maintain warehouse and office security protocol and cleanliness to provide healthy and safe working environment

We are looking for

•Minimum 2 years of experience (TL) would be an advantage.
•Fresh graduates are considerable too.
•Relevant background in 3PL and Logistics industry is a PLUS.
•People management skill would be an advantage. Prior experience managing team or team members.
•Independent, able to make decision on the spot if required
•Fluent in both Bahasa Malay and English.
