The successful candidate is responsible for the change and run of the regional platform portfolio, the projects delivery and the risks management associated with it. Builds and maintains close relationships with the Business units and the various IT teams to qualify and forecast demand for business-driven IT needs, rationalize the tech debt, streamline the regional portfolio and orchestrate and drive the modernization/digitization of the regional portfolio as per the tech standards.

Key responsibilities

The ideal candidate works with business stakeholders to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of data products throughout it's lifecycle. Provides effective and regular communication within the delivery team, stakeholders, sponsors and management. Identifies and manages resources and needs for the product delivery and manages expectations and setup goals with team members.

- Responsible for the development and deployment of the regional D&A Platform Portfolio roadmap and outcomes
- Drive the standardization and the rationalization of the regional portfolio of data products and data warehouse solutions and ensuring strong alignment with global standards
- Responsible for the shaping and the validation of business demands within the platform portfolio perimeters
- Serve as a counselor to and catalyst for regional functional managers in identifying areas for technology improvement and/or technology use improvement
- Responsible for developing and managing the budget to run and maintain the regional D&A platform portfolio
- Responsible for the support and maintenance of the terminals running data products while ensuring full adherence to GDA and Cyber standards
- Act as the regional point of coordination for all data product deployments across the region
- Ensure regional/terminal constraints and/or specificities are well captured during the development of new global data products
- Responsible for the management and mitigation of all risks associated with the D&A portfolio operations
- Work closely with platform counterparts from other regions to share good practices and leverage cross regions synergies
- Effectively manage stakeholders across platform teams, functions and terminals to reach agreement on conflicting priorities

We are looking for

- In depth knowledge and expertise on data products, data analytics, master data management, data warehouse solutions, and BI.
- Experience in IoT data integration is a plus.
- Extensive relationship management experience and the ability to create and maintain a strong internal network across levels and disciplines
- Strong terminal operations background, with specific exposure to the portfolio operational domain
- Experience of providing effective demand management and support for management of an IT portfolio
- Working experience driving standardization of an IT portfolio across different business units
- Sound financial planning and analysis experience (TCO, costs/budgets mgmt. ..)
- People management and development in a virtual, international and decentralized working setup
- Experience working in a matrix organizational model
