Key responsibilities

A vacancy exists for Cyber Security Officer within Maersk Cyber Security organization. The successful candidate will be accountable for supporting Maersk, APMT and GSC organizations within Asia region in achieving and maintaining Cyber Security objectives, standards and compliance, as defined by Maersk Cyber Security.
• Promoting the guiding principles of Maersk Cyber Security in Asia region, as outlined in policy
• Acting as a point of contact for supported Maersk brands in Asia region for visibility and control of Cyber Security risks
• Assisting the management and evaluation the risk profile and risk appetite in collaboration with Cyber Security centre support teams
• Acting as Maersk Cyber Security representative in Asia region, both internally within the business and at external forums and committees
• Acting as an escalation point for cyber security related services in Asia region
• Assisting the coordination of non-technological Cyber Security incident investigations and liaising with key business stakeholders to close-out these incidents
• Drive cyber awareness in the business, joint ventures, and key partners.
• Supporting business, joint ventures, and key partners to identify cyber threat which could jeopardize Maersk brand
• Supporting the business growth by reposition cyber security as growth enabler

We are looking for

• A Master’s degree in computer sciences, information management or another related area (a bachelor’s degree can be accepted if experience is extensive)
• Security certification/accreditation (example CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCISO) is required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of managing risk within a global and similar size business
• Good functional knowledge of end-to-end risk and continuity policies, procedures and controls
• Being able to demonstrate how information risk and business continuity management can support the core business and the potential return on investment
• Proven ability to work and effectively prioritize in a dynamic and decentralized work environment
• Able to speak fluent English to perform the job more effectively
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business
• Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
• As this role may be remote from the Information Security team, self-starting and self-confidence are a must
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Being able to articulate the risks in a language that the business understands, aligned with local cultural aspects
• Adaptable to different cultures and able to cope with uncertainty
• Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment-oriented
