We offer

The Financial Analysis Manager is to provide performance management, financial analytics and decision support to the Stakeholders working closely with the Trades. In doing so they must leverage “One set of numbers” and establish a strong link between financial numbers and Operational actions.

The Manager, through the MLOS must maintain and contribute towards an effective performance management frame work and have a detailed understanding of the financial numbers as well as solid business knowledge. Through this he/she must challenge and contribute to more data driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Ocean Lead in GSC and interacting with multiple stakeholders within Sealand. He or She will be responsible for recurrent and ad-hoc analysis requiring business understanding and financial knowledge along with core activities that includes
(a)Thorough Understanding of the operations and network of a shipping industry
(b)Good Understanding of the assigned business area and responsible for various levers driving the business
(c)Drive Performance management for the business area through periodic engagement with relevant stakeholders including COO,CFO, and CLO.
(d)Own, and drive data reports and analysis.
(e)Have a holistic view of the end to end processes and drivers of the business, understanding the impact of the same on the business.
(f)Based on business and financial knowledge provide insights to the business owners, operational and commercial stakeholders.
(g)Influence the business by recommending initiatives to improve the profitability.
(h)Challenge and partner with business owners to ensure transparency of business performance.

•Rofo
(a)Preparation of data for enabling trade to give accurate forecasts for volumes and rates
(b)Assist the Seniors to challenge and validate the Rofo Input for best estimates
(c)Deliver periodic reporting and forecasting activities.

•Value Creating Initiatives
(a)Work closely with Stakeholders to identify value creating opportunities from the business.

•Organizational Initiatives – Business Intelligence initiative
(a) Best Practice sharing
(b) Drive Initiatives /Standardization
(c) Cross functional co-ordination – FPNA, GSC-all functions, Regions, Ocean
•Create Process knowledge hub across function
•Bridging the various function in GSC for any process issues
•You will work with all levels of our organization which requires a clear understanding of the level of quality and commitment required to meet ambitious targets and constantly improve our business and financial processes.

We are looking for

• Financial Analysis Manager has a Master’s degree in Finance or Economics or a Chartered Accountant
•The Manager should have the following competencies with the minimum level of capabilities (on a scale 1-4 where 1 is the highest)
