My path to MMC

My interest in management consulting arose when I was working in a private equity firm next to my studies at Copenhagen Business School. Here, I was introduced to the work of management consultants and quickly realized how this appealed to me. I attended several business events to learn more about the industry – including a special invite dinner in MMC. I got a really good impression of MMC and stayed in contact with the consultants I had met until I applied half a year later.

Why I joined MMC

I joined MMC for several reasons. Firstly, MMC provides a great opportunity to work with top tier consultants in a fortune 500 company. In MMC, I build my consulting toolbox while gaining experience within a global market leader of the transport and logistics industry. Secondly, I joined MMC because I got a really good impression of the team. I spend a lot of time with my colleagues so to me it’s crucial to work with people I can learn from and have fun with.

What I like the most about being in MMC is the steep learning curve and the international experiences I get.

Most rewarding part of my job

What I like the most about being in MMC is the steep learning curve and the international experiences I get. In MMC, you are facing clients from day one and you are quickly trusted with responsibility. Combined with well-structured trainings, this ensures you constantly develop. Also, the culture and work in MMC is very international. From working with team members from all over the world and from traveling with my projects, I learn a lot about different cultures which I find truly exciting.

What I’d like to share about MMC

I would like to emphasize how many international experiences you can get from working in MMC. In my first year as a Consultant in MMC I have spent approx. half of my time in Copenhagen and half of it abroad. Specifically, I have had projects in Chile, Berlin, The Hague and Copenhagen. On top of this, I have travelled to Singapore, Barcelona, Vado, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Birmingham for different business purposes.

What I do in my spare time

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, exploring Copenhagen, running and travelling when time allows it.
