Low water levels on Manaus river - Withdrawal of surcharge

In the light of the development of water levels on Manaus River verified by the Brazilian National Agency of Waters (ANA), Maersk will withdraw the application of 2022 Low Water Surcharge (LWC) at Port Manaus, Brazil, effective from 12th December base on price calculation date.

We are monitoring the situation and depending on the development, further measures might need to be taken. However, as of now, the surcharge connected to this incident will be cancelled in its entirety.
