Ane Mærsk Mc-Kinney Uggla


Born in 1948

Ane Mærsk Mc-Kinney Uggla (1948–) is the youngest daughter of Emma and Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller. After completing a degree in foreign languages, Ms Uggla married Colonel Peder Uggla and settled in Stockholm, where she completed an additional degree in philosophy.

Since 1986 Ms Uggla has served as a member of the boards of the A.P. Møller and Chastine Mc-Kinney Møller Foundation and the A.P. Møller Relief Foundation. When her father passed away in 2012, Ms Uggla assumed chairmanship of these foundations. The first of these foundations owns the controlling stake in the Maersk Group.

In addition to chairing the two family foundations, Ms Uggla serves as vice chairman of the Maersk Group’s board of directors. And outside the family firm, she has worked for the Swedish Red Cross since 1986.
