As announced on 13 December 2002 A.P. Møller has sold Maersk Medical A/S to Nordic Capital subject to approvals from authorities. These approvals have now been granted, and payment for the shares has taken place.


The parties do not wish to disclose the purchase price.

The efforts to sell the rubber activities in Roulunds have demonstrated a significant distance between A.P. Møller’s and the potential buyers’ future expectations for these activities. Accordingly it has been decided to cease the sales process and maintain these activities within A.P. Møller.


The sales process is still on-going for the friction activities.
