Vice President Paul Carsten Pedersen (50), Skodsborg, is appointed Senior Vice President in A.P. Møller.


Paul Carsten Pedersen, who is a graduate engineer, joined Maersk Contractors (then Maersk Drilling) in 1981. Among other things he worked with operation, maintenance and rebuilding of drilling rigs as well as development and construction of Floating Production. In 1992 he was appointed Senior Director and in 1999 Vice President.


In 2000 Paul Carsten Pedersen transferred to corporate projects where he was responsible for business development and sale within the industry group.


In 2004 Paul Carsten Pedersen re-joined Maersk Contractors and is today responsible for sale, marketing and other commercial activities.

Apart from external management courses Paul Carsten Pedersen has complemented his education with courses at Columbia University, USA and Wharton Business School, USA.
