Organisational changes at APM Terminals
Bookmark and Share
Effective June 1 2004, Kim Fejfer will assume the position as CEO of APM Terminals International B.V., based in The Hague, and succeding Claus V. Hemmingsen currently based in Copenhagen.

The change follows the successful move of APM Terminals' head office from Copenhagen, Denmark to the Hague, Netherlands in February 2004. APM Terminals is set to expand its world-wide position as a strong, independent container terminal operator. Increased focus on servicing the global common-user market and the further development of APM Terminals requires the CEO to be based in The Hague on a full time basis.

Kim Fejfer holds vast experience from several postings in the global A.P. Moller - Maersk organisation in Asia and for the past four years has served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Maersk Inc., the North American arm of the organisation. Kim Fejfer will relocate to The Hague over the summer of 2004.

Claus V. Hemmingsen will continue as Senior Vice President of A.P. Moller - Maersk, responsible for the container division's Global Service Delivery organisation and for the Shared Service Centres servicing Maersk Sealand and Maersk Logistics.
