Mr Vagn Lehd Møller, Senior Vice President, will, as of 16 August 1999, be promoted to Executive Vice President Projects in A.P. Møller.


Mr Vagn Lehd Møller joined A.P. Møller in 1963. In the following years he worked primarily within container shipping - both at the head office in Denmark as well as in other countries. In 1991 he was promoted Senior Vice President in A.P. Møller, and in 1994 he became head of the Mercantile organisation worldwide.


In 1996 Mr Vagn Lehd Møller was appointed Managing Director of Maersk Line's Benelux organisation, and moved to Holland.


Lehd Møller now returns to Denmark. In his new position he will participate in managing the process of integrating Maersk Lines and Sea-Land's organisations and activities.


Vagn Lehd Møller has supplemented his education by management courses at Western Ontario University, CEDEP and INSEAD.
