As of 15 May, Senior Director Martin Fruergaard (36), Copenhagen, is appointed Vice President in A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S.


Martin Fruergaard joined A.P. Møller in 1989 as a trainee, and after having completed his education in 1991 he was employed in Maersk Tankers. He was stationed in Houston the same year.

After another period in Maersk Tankers, Martin Fruergaard was assigned to Maersk Bulk in 1995, where he was appointed General Manager in 1998 and Director in 2001.

In 2002 Martin Fruergaard was assigned to Maersk Tankers, where he was appointed Senior Director in 2003. Today, he is responsible for Maersk Tankers’ gas carriers.

Martin Fruergaard has supplemented his education with courses at IMD in Switzerland, among others.
